The Sonae factory affected the air quality badly again this evening.(Sept 26) As I
write this the fumes are so bad that I had to close my windows
- despite being approx 1 mile from the factory, the smell is so
bad that my sinuses are affected. Kirkby Times has stated before
that the health of local people is being affected - some local
councillors have proof of this yet the information, so far, is not
being made public. It's time our Councillors realised they are supposed
to serve us - that means getting off their backsides and researching
and collating information and speaking out for once - like Kirkby
Times and it's contributors. If our Councillors think they can emerge
out of the Sonae deal without losing votes - they have got another
thing coming. Labourites will find it increasingly difficult to be
taken seriously. Those who took Kaiser Keight's shilling have
betrayed themselves and their community. The few who have
acted with honour will emerge intact.
Sonae pollution - It's not just formaldehyde.
Sonae deny that they affect the air quality to the point
that it infringes on actual guidelines or law - but to monitor
the air effectively, there would need to be various monitoring
devices placed at a variety of locations. The actual pollution
being monitored seems to be formaldehyde, but we are actually
being affected by a variety of pollutants which Kirkby Times
will be addressing very soon. Formaldehyde is just one of the
pollutants being spread over Kirkby, Knowsley and a radius
of several miles. Kirkby Times has reports that the smell
from Sonae, which is actually small tiny particles of dust,
is hitting areas many miles from the actual Sonae factory.
Let's build the Chimney Higher and other stupidity
Building the chimney higher won't make any difference
whatsoever apart from directing the pollution form the chimney
to a wider radius perhaps. Anyone who studies the chimney will
notice the wind often blows the so called 'steam' downwards.
This was happening tonight as a massive cloud of the 'steam'
simply drifted over Northwood. Liverpool Academy is also being
affected by this pollution, the young players; no girls though,
must be breathing in more pollution due to them exercising their
lungs in the vicinity of Sonae. (Girls are not allowed to train
in the academy - thanks to Liverpool FC for banning our local
girls you sexist swine - more soon on this ban on girls.
What do local women think of this?)
Meeting soon - Wed Oct 1st Kirkby suite - 6.00pm
Meeting is NOT public - more soon - apologies.
