Sonae Mystery Continues. Chimney Still Off: Are Sonae in Trouble?

As stated before on this website, the ordinary people of Kirkby are always the last to know whats
happening here. And so it is with this latest topic, we simply don't know what the hell is happening in matters which should be kept informed about. Kirkby Times was first to bring you news of the Plant re opening, our footage of the Chimney shows a level of pollution which
was worse than before the factory exploded!
Chimney Off for at least Two Weeks!
The Sonae Chimney has not been seen operating for 2 weeks as of today(20th Aug 02) and many are asking what's happening now.
No doubt someone in the Council Knows exactly what's going on, but the lack of information given to the local Community is appalling. The Toxic Sonae chimney may have stopped but the Plant continues to use the grounds as a massive open air
storage depot for hundred's maybe thousands of tons of wood dust.Kirkby times has photographs of the actual dust mountain growing in size over the months.
