Church was knocked down. The Church here have made a fortune
selling off land in Kirkby. The Council seem to have bought
this land but locals who suggested it was used for the local
Kids were ignored
The land which was bought was soon fenced off and an instant 'community organisation'
was born when the old Preists house was refurbished for the pen pushers and dodgy training
schemes.The manager of the place is not from Kirkby, although those locals involved there
seem to be the usual suspects who you find flitting from committee to committee and
project to project.Despite suggestions from locals that the church land should be
turned into something for the kids here, the idiot beaurocrats of Knowsley Council
and the local gutless ranks of political players kept quiet and the land has lain
vacant ever since, fenced off by the Environmental Task Team.

Everything's Up For Sale in Kirkby
There's a lot of people squeezed into a small place here but the Council or the Firms like Wimpey who purchase land care little about the consequences.
Knowsley Council have shown repeatedly that they are not in the least interested in listening to Kirkby's residents wishes and needs. David Henshaw introduced the Council to Insane American Management techniques,
this was paid for out of taxpayers money and the American Firm Senn Delaney boasts on its website as to how Henshaw praised the management training course as "Stunning!"
The style of management here in Knowsley has entered into realms of almost fascism, certainly a dictatorship.
Now Henshaw is bringing his insane philosophies gleaned from even crazier American Gung ho,
Cult like figures to Liverpool City Council where he went from Knowsley.
The Greed of the Catholic Church in Kirkby.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxThe amount of fields and green areas lost in Kirkby is growing by the day. Massive profits are being made and it would not be too far fetched to suggest that with the massive amounts of cash
comes potential for corruption and under-hand dealing. The Church, despite its attempt to remain out of the limelight, must surely be held to account for its dealings in the sale of local land.
The archdiocese who control the Churches massive finances here in Merseyside are almost as secretive as the Freemasons.
The Church more like an estate agent.
Millions have been made in recent years as the Church sells off land
and closes schools which are no longer profitable. Many of our parents and grand parents helped make the church here in Kirkby a LOT of money over the years.
Kirkby Times is glad that the generations growing up now are not interested in the mumbo jumbo spouted by a bunch of blokes in frocks.We don't buy the Catholic Churches laughable crap about being equal in Gods eyes.
A priest up here was convicted of thieving off an old age pensioner, and the land sales up here prove the Church is a greedy business which uses the bible to brainwash potential customers .
If Jesus Christ saw the profiteer's who currently sit as the leaders of the Catholic Church, there would be a re run of the 'money lenders in the temple' scene in the Bible. The Church is Hypocrisy incorporated,any land they 'own' was stolen in the first place,the Church pays for little it owns.
It puts out its begging bowls to the poorest of the poor whilst investing BILLIONS in stocks and shares and god knows what valuables stashed in the sinister Vatican Bank. The Pope, the Token 'Right hand man of God', has made little sense in the past two decades.
Any declarations and grand speeches about peace and understanding must be taken with a pinch of salt.You don't need a church to believe in god, nor do you need a priest to tell you what the bible means.
The Church could always disprove this by giving the land it 'owns' to the people who kept it fed all these years.

The Rich Young Man
One Day a Man came up to Jesus and asked "Teacher, what good things must i do to get eternal life?"

When the young man heard this he went away sad because he had great wealth.
Then Jesus said to his disciples "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a Rich man to enter heaven.Again i tell you it is harder for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.
Kirkby Times hopes that the Two faced hypocrites who currently run the Catholic Church in Liverpool may choose at this point to realise the folly of there ways.
Odds are the church here will carry on as per usual and completely ignore the uncomfortable reality of the Churches profiteering and keep disregarding the wishes of local parishioner's.
Jesus Christ was a rebel who would weep to see those who masquerade as his disciples running the church like a Multinational Corporation.
