Kirkby Times was subject
to a poison pen leaflet which was distributed in Northwood,
perhaps further. The leaflet is libelous in the extreme,
also poorly designed, using a Microsoft Publisher template and has several
spelling mistakes. It was also anonymous, but we know exactly who is
behind it.
Kirkby Times has a response to the leaflet here. Firstly though, here is an
opportunity to see the contents of the leaflet. The only editing is to blank out
personal information such as names and addresses, this is the leaflet in its full
original form.
LOCAL MAN SLAGS OFF KIRKBY
WATCH OUT THERES A CRANK ABOUT.
**** ***** also known on the Internet as " WORKING CLASS HERO"
is part of a scurrilous website that slags off Kirkby, in particular
the area of Northwood.
**** ***** who has never done a days work in his life or ever been
involved in any community organisation, is a low life, a (
named criminal act) and a closet homosexual, supposedly living in **** ****** but
really living in **** *****.
According to his website, he wants to legalise drugs and
prostitution in Kirkby. He is a sad confused human being
who locks himself away in his bedroom, maybe in his closet,
making up scurrilous remarks about individual people and
organisations that are doing something positive about the community.
TRUE FACTS OF A WORKING CLASS W*NK*R
**** ***** SNEAKS AROUND Kirkby taking photo's, similar to a Sun journalist.
**** ***** hides behind his computer screen getting carried away with himself,
similar to a Sun journalist.
**** ***** is negative about Kirkby, similar to a Sun journalist
**** ***** rubbishes the working class similar to a Sun journalist.
My Reply......
Local Man Slags Off Kirkby! That's the heading of the leaflet,
funny really because criticising local organisations or political
players is not criticising Kirkby. I'm not slagging off the ordinary people
of Northwood, just the fools in charge . People in
local politics must understand that criticism comes with the territory.
Most do and take it on the chin, but not the person who designed this leaflet.
Anyone who knows me, even if they hate my politics, will know I am honest,
sincere and 100% for the Working Class.
I have worked. More than a day. Real work, unlike the pen pushers around here.
I have been involved in local community organisations, never paid.
I've campaigned on more social issues than i can count . I build and repair computers, free of charge for locals. I'd love
to teach locals how to construct websites and maybe computer
maintenance.I'm studying to try to get qualifications. I do what I can.
I consider myself an asset to
the community. People who really know me will testify that
I am not a snide.
I'm not a Low Life. People who write anonymous
leaflets posting them to the local community are low life.
Other allegations refer to my sexuality (Is this a Woman I knocked back?) but
the leaflets demented conclusion which concludes that I am a closet homosexual
is made all the more laughable when the author then tries to suggest I am like
a Sun journalist. Sun journalists, when no other option is available,
resort to slurs on people's sexuality. I'm actually heterosexual, but
Kirkby Times welcomes any local Gays to contribute
articles relating to prejudice from the brain-dead minority.
As for the drugs allegations, Kirkby Times has indeed spoken out for legalising
drugs, and prostitution. I'd sooner see heroin being given out by doctors
than the local dealer. I'd sooner see working girls given a safe haven instead
of being found cut up in some back alley.
I'm not like the Sun Newspaper, in fact read
this, and
this and
this,
then go
here to see my photo of the Sun. I hope Murdoch breaks his neck
reading this. Screw the Sun. The author of the leaflet may well think
of applying for a Job with Rupert Murdoch, just make sure you use a
spell checker.
Two allegations are actually criminal libel, but the situation legally is
a civil matter. I am obliged to tell the Police as to whom I suspect
of being behind this leaflet. Imagine if the allegations were
more serious, i cannot leave myself open to malicious abuse and vicious muck raking.
In my opinion it is not beyond the person who penned
this vicious demented poison leaflet to go further.
I have to make the community aware of what's happening.
Had the person in Question chosen to approach me,
I would have given the right of reply to the article
which has so upset someone.
The leaflet gives away a vital clue as to the identity
of the author. The leaflet refers to me "making scurrilous
accusations about individual people and organisations doing
something positive about the community" This means it is someone
connected to a local organisation, which has been reported on
Kirkby Times. Someone who has obviously been named and someone
who is involved with SRB or European Grants, or both. You know
who you are. It won't happen again, and if anything does
happen, we all know who's behind it now. You may be interested to
know Kirkby Times has clocked your computers IP address from your
visits to the website. Your printer can be matched to the leaflets.
You have NOT deleted the leaflet either, you think you have,
but in point of fact the evidence is still on your hard drive. Using computers to create poison pen letters
is not wise.
I have prepared a leaflet refuting the allegations which will be sent to
ALL local political organisations who appear on Kirkby Times.
Even without naming you, EVERY organisation which receives
it will have a few in the know, local people who know your ways and who
won't be too quick to defend you in future.
This episode has caused distress to my family, thanks you
sicko, you know my mother and father as well don't you? The episode has strengthened my resolve to use Kirkby
Times as a platform for exposing the political phony's
like yourself. Next time your up for election for whatever position, i will make it my business to be on your case.
You've ran out of allegations for me, i've got plenty for you, all FACTS which i'll gladly sign my name to.
You pay people to deliver badly designed leaflets like a thief in the night and reach a few hundred people.
I upload HTML code to a web server which got 8000 visitors last month and is growing all the time. Kirkby Times is
the biggest Working Class Community Website in the UK. Your leaflet is in a few dozen bins(your paper delivery boy ripped you off) but
thanks for publicising the website.
