A load of Lies!

The picture below is of a Council Newspaper which seems to have been caught lying!. We were the first to expose the Councils website picturing a Sonae Factory with no Chimney!, now we find another picture which is even worse! Somehow the Council paper 'Housing News' got Larch Tower in Kirkby mixed up with other better maintained Hi Rise Flats, not even in Kirkby!!

Housing News, Knowsley Councils Propaganda Rag with articles which challenge reality as we know it

Get Your Facts Straight!

Firstly, don't write drivel, the story on Larch tower is fantasy pure and simple. Secondly, Don't print pictures which mislead people. Read on for the shocking facts!

Council Article a Complete Distortion of Reality!

Who Writes this Drivel?
The No9 Issue of 'Housing News' contained an article which although not recent deserves a mention. The Article is titled 'Multi Story Working Party' and it is misleading in a number of aspects. Firstly it has a picture which is not even Larch Tower. Little wonder because Larch looks a bloody mess. The picture shown by Housing News is not even a block of flats in Kirkby. Look at the Two photos below and see if you can spot the difference.

Below: Larch Tower, notice the colour of the brick?.

The Photo below is Not Larch Tower or even in Kirkby!

Who wrote the article?

The article accompanying the picture was even more misleading than the Photo!, the article was titled "Multi Storey Working Party" maybe they thought 'Multi Storey' sounded better, the article certainly tries to manipulate not only the english language but reality itself. According to the article, the Tower, Larch Tower, had been transformed from a 'Multi Storey' with a "Poor reputation" to one where it was "Fully tenanted and "In demand". A 'Working party' of the police, council. fire service, and a security firm apparently came together and sorted out Larch Tower. Funny, but only 3 years after this miraculous turn around, the block is rumoured to be due for demolition and people are moving out fast from all the neighbouring blocks. By the way, there was no mention of the tenants in this recovery. They were not involved because the Council stopped holding meetings to go it alone. Since then Knowsley Council have neglected Larch and all the Towers on that row of Tower Blocks, or Multi Storey's as the Idiot Spin-doctors would call them. In fact, Larch Towers, the award winning revived tower block, is now empty. Other nearby flats, have become, as predicted, a Junkies playground, just like Larch Tower was before the Council paid tenants to move out.

Knowsley Housing Trust, 100 odd days after they took over the Tower Blocks, including the derelict Larch Towers, have not even bothered to so much as clean the pigeon sh**, never mind carry out the massive program of repairs they promised.
