Knowsley Labour Councillors Cost Kirby £Millions in Trams Failure
Knowsley Labour Councillors Cost Kirby £Millions in Trams Failure
No Trams to Kirkby but we will still pay for them.
What is the difference between Lying and being Economic with the Truth? Not a lot the economic truth becomes Lies when they are found out YES found out NOT DISCOVERED AS IF LOST, simply found out.
What is the difference between LYING WITH INTENT TO DECIEVE AND HAVING A HIDDEN POLITICAL AGENDA?
What is the difference between supporting a Local Public Political Objective and Privately KNOWING that it will not be supported with Government Funds and will therefore fail? (Knowsley Labour Councillors lose £40M taxpayers money knowing that the Labour Government will not FUND them)
What we know and understand is that time, and time again we in Kirby Times EXPOSE this tragic evil, this willingness of the Officers and Councillors to sell their souls for Political Reward and to continue the High Salary and Public Figure Syndrome. The mask of the public figure is an unforgiving slavish mask of adherence to be seen IN PUBLIC and to be encouraged by rewards to be economic with the truth or in our language to be an accomplished liar. The current cost to Merseyside taxpayers £Millions some £40M in all!!
Today we have been informed from deep inside the Merseytravel Kremlin that there will be NO TRAMS TO KIRKBY they will go to Gilmoss only. The question is are we really surprised?
We knew that the loss on Trams of £ m's was mounting, we knew that Knowsley Councillors were in Collusion and we knew that Merseytravel (M/T) and the £65000 Chairman were only surviving because Knowsley Labour Party with their majority voted to back the failed M/T Tram Project.
Let us be very clear the Sefton Labour Mob and the St. Helens Labour Henchmen are without doubt equally to blame. How do we know? Because concerned citizens inside the Merseytravel kept Kirby Times informed of the evil plots and £millions wasted on outside Consultants (not one M/T employee employed on the Tram Project except of course Rolly Girl)
We have been informed for some time now and in our Kirkby Times have battled against the Liverpool Echo and the Local BBC, WHO HAVE REFUSED to accept the authentic knowledge, and even worse, continued to give more airtime and print to the brazen Chairman Dowd and General Scales. Mind you we do not get £m's in advertising revenue nor do we have a phone in program, where the wicked Basil was treated so, so carefully.
Our concerned Liverpool citizen, informed the Kirkby Times yesterday that the Bid to construct the supposed Line One Kirby to Kings Dock had submitted a "conforming bid" (within the Governments limit to fund) of £224m .To get to that figure we are told, the Consortium has proposed to start at GILLMOSS and not Kirkby and not to have a loop in the City.
In all a reduction of 30% of the Line One!! Cut out? Cut back? Cut out Kirkby? "They don't matter they only have to pay for it!"
This gives us the Real cost of the Line One as £320m (if £224 is only 70% then 100% equals £320m) that is some £100m over the M/T submission to the Inquiry. Question; is this being Economic with the Truth or, a DOWNRIGHT lie?
Manchester City Council have conceded that the increase of £600m (£300 to £900m) for their second Tram extension is a lot for the Government to swallow, and will now be considered only for funding, BEFORE, The Liverpool Merseytravel Tram Line One but not until 2006.
Liverpool will now be considered in, wait for it, 2008!! This will make Liverpool the Capital of Chaos; roads in the City dug up, Kings Dock a Building Site, and Lime Street impassable as the roads all around (St. Johns Lane as a Bus access to the Terminus will be closed) Lime Street are dug up to move the Gas, Electricity and the Telephone connections.
At last the truth emerges. After over a year of Kirkby Times reporting the truth. The admitted (see above only 70% of line 1 will be built) rise in cost has gone from £224m to £320m a rise of £100m, for a start!
With inflation and the increase in materials to year 2008 @10% per year increases the total to, £484m, and with the increase in Consultants Fees, circa, £25m, and wage and salary increases, circa £20m the cost is estimated total is at £529m!!
Now, Merseytravel are getting closer to the increase for Manchester Trams and their extension, of £600m. General Scales and the bold Chairman Marx vehemently stated that their Tram (not ours by the way Kirkby will not get one now) will never cost THAT much. Oh yes it will.
And just who pays for this? You ask.
Knowsley will, you silly Taxpayer. Who else? It will not be the Labour Knowsley Councillors who authorised and backed with their majority Marx, and the General.
"What did you say?" we hear you shout. So we will say it again "Kirkby will", remember by the way we will not now get Trams, but we will pay as a partner of the MERSEYTRAVEL Merseyside Transport Authority.
"Oh no we wont", you shout
"Oh yes you will" shouts the bolder and louder, Marx Dowd and his trusty General Scales.
Guess what? They are right; you will pay up as before. You paid up for the Misguide Bus £12.5m and £12.5m for the Plans only for the Trams, read the previous Tram articles and under the same rules you will pay again and again see above as the increase inevitably rises and rises.
Toys for the Labour Boys a costly Tram Set for Xmas donated to the B Team not the BBC or the Echo they get the crumbs from the M/T table no adverse comment to be found! Fall Out the Generals Men.
So there we are miles and miles ahead of the official news.
NO TRAMS FOR KIRKBY BUT WE PICK UP THE TAB.
Thanks a £million Knowsley and Kirby Labour Councillors. Do us a favour if you see one of them wish all the best from The Kirkby Times
