On the morning of Sept 11, aircraft were seen flying low overhead. Minutes later,
if you had been there, you would have heard explosions and saw fireballs of smoke fill
the sky. As a result of these attacks thousands died. But this wasn't September the 11th
of 2001, it was 1973 and the Americans, as usual, were using death and terror as a political
tool. The attack was a coup staged on a democratically elected government. The planes dropped bombs on the presidential palace.
Salvador Allende Gossens
In Chile, September 11th 1973, a military coup ended the democratically socialist
Salvador Allende Government and unleashed nearly two decades of repression under General
Augusto Pinochet. These events in 1973 and the subsequent events afterwards need to be
understood by those who wonder why Americas Government, not its people, is so hated
throughout the World.
Americas Business.
America had business interests in Chile and knew that the election of Salvadore Allende
would lead to there usual theft of a countries resources being hindered. Just like in Cuba,
the Americans had seen that determined resistance to American domination could not always
be effectively resisted. Che Guevara and his mates rightly kicked the American gangsters
out of the Country. America got a good hiding there for once. The CIA and the US government,
headed by Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger, were determined to oust the socialist
Allende and his Popular Unity coalition.
Healer of the Sick, Healer of a Nation, Killed By A Sick Nation
Before he became a politician, Salvador Allende Gossens, was a doctor born in
Viña del Mar, Chile on July 26, 1908. He had been involved in the politics of
Chile beginning in 1933, and had tried three times prior to his election in
1970 to win the Presidency. On Oct. 4 of that year, Allende, a founding member
of Chile's Socialist Party, won the majority of the votes cast (36.3 percent)
as a member of the Socialist Popular Unity Party (UP). This was the first
time in world history that a Socialist had acceded to the highest national
office by democratic means. America had to teach the people of Chile a lesson,
but rather than wage open war a covert war was stepped up to intimidate the
socialists and working class of Chile. America wanted capitalism (organised
theft) to be established in Chile, not for the Chilean people to interfere
with the multinational companies which waited in the shadows to bleed
countries dry.
A Politicians Promises are Fulfilled.
Once Allende was elected, he promptly raised the minimum wage 35 percent, sent a
"people's health train" around Chile with free medical supplies and
trained personnel, and launched a program to provide every child and pregnant
or nursing woman with free milk every day. He also added 3.5 million acres of
land to the 8.5 million already "reformed" by former President Frei which
provided for the
"expropriation with compensation of excessively large,
ill-managed estates." The rate of growth of the Gross Domestic Product
(GDP) tripled, industrial production rose 14. 6 percent, unemployment dropped
from 8.3 to 3.9 percent, inflation was reduced from 35 to 22 percent
annually and Chile's infant mortality rate dropped 11 percent. All
of this, noble as it was, interfered with the Chilean ruling classes, elements of the
middle classes and the bosses aspirations to control the economy. More
importantly it interfered with Americas Global economic and military plans.
America did not want to see the spread of socialism, and cared little that
the lives of the majority of Chileans were better off under the Allende
regime. America, as we will later see, preferred Osama Bin Ladens brand
of Islamic extremism to the USSR's state communism.(see link at end of

The Fall of the South American Socialist Bloc
The CIA trained and co-ordinated several terror organisations in the South American
region, death squads and kidnappers and torturers were paid well with the US dollar.
There target? Generally people who stood up for the poor and dispossessed. The CIA
was careful to distance itself from any legal repercussions. They train and let others
fight. America only wanted democracy if they could rely on the elected leader to do
the will of America. The deaths squads emerged in numerous South American Countries,
including Argentina, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, Columbia and El Salvador. And
of course, Chile. Thousands of Trade unionists, church leaders, politicians and
campaigners for social justice will have seen the absolute horror of USA terror.
Americans, or there treacherous governments, always like to fight in other peoples
Countries. Can you imagine how many enemies they have made in there own World
tour of terror? Lists of Allende supporters to be arrested and/or executed were
distributed, allegedly by the CIA, throughout Chile. The CIA's files and computer systems of today
which keep tabs on subversives may show us who is going to be targeted tomorrow.
Pinochet
The USA chose General Pinochet to be the leader or dictator of Chile, once
the peoples choice, Allende, was murdered in the presidential palace, although the
Chilean authorities stated that Allendes had killed himself. (more below) Chiles
rich and business leaders were glad of the murder as Allendes had promised revolutionary
reforms and made no secret that he wanted to see an equality of wealth. Pinochet was
the usual CIA asset type, controllable, self motivated, greedy and ruthless. The CIA,
in there enthusiasm for destroying South America and then the USSR, would eventually
train there own enemies.
UK Welcomes the Killer Pinochet
Thousands were murdered by the Pinochet Regime. The UK welcomed him and Maggie
Thatcher would take tea with this mass murdering enemy of the people. This war criminal
should have jailed for life, or thrown to the Chilean people to do as they will. Jack
Straw let him go although our Law Lords in a fit of common sense decreed he could stand
trial. Thousands disappeared during the regime and one of the first acts by the
Pinoceht regime was to herd Allendes supporters into the National Football Stadium,
the 'Estadio Nacional', which had been converted into a torture factory. Among
those taken to the Estadio and killed were the popular guitarist and folksinger
Victor Jara. His hands were symbolically smashed before he was killed. And this is the 'freedom' Americans support.
Americans have spent 3 years now holding the murder of there own people as another
reason to murder innocent women and children and men. Americas control over the media is
such that few people under the age of 30 or so will have heard of Chiles Sept 11. Few
will be able to name one victim of this American backed funded and inspired terrorism
which led to a bloody coup and the murder of opposition supporters. Americans grew
rich on this slaughter and subsequent tyranny. They always do.
CIA Trains Islamic Terrorists To Kill Russians.
After Chile, the CIA had Afghanistan in there sights. The aim? Back the USSR enemies
who were fighting the 'Evil Soviet Empire' in Afghanistan. The CIA trained and armed the
Afghani and other Fighters well. They will have noticed most Afghanis and Arab people
drifting to the conflict, were fighting a 'Holy War', but American arms and funds soon
gave these Holy Warriors top class military training and the Jihad crazy fighters soon
picked up the ability to aim ground to air missiles at USSR planes and helicopters
which were beating the Holy Warriors. The CIA trained many young Islamic fanatics,
including a man called Bin Laden. Bin Laden gained a reputation there, by all
accounts he was a decent fighter, and the USSR Troops were being slaughtered
by the thousand. America were pleased once the USSR had been defeated. The USSR
may have been broken up in 1991 but the Russians are themselves dealing with the
Islamic Terror which the USA funded to attack them in Afghanistan.
Bin Laden and the other CIA assets were now a dangerous group indeed.
Battle hardened by years of tough guerrilla warfare, blooded in often brutal battles,
there is nothing more dangerous than a united force which has lived breathed and ate
war non stop for years. Confident that they had driven the infidel Russians from the
land of Afghanistan, they sat back and re read the old Koran and decided to 'free'
Afghanistan from other 'non Islamic' influences. Soon the Taliban was born.

"My friends, this will be the last time I speak to you. The Air Force has bombarded the towers of radio Portales and radio Corporacion.
My words have no bitterness, but disappointment. My words would be the moral punishment to those who betrayed their oath: this soldiers of Chile, Chief Commanders, the Admiral Merino who nominated himself, but mister Mendoza, a crawling general who gave the state his fidelity and loyalty just yesterday, and also nominated himself to General Director of Carabineers (Police).
With these facts, it remains only one thing for me to say to the workers: I will not resign. I have been put in front of a historical choice and I am prepared to pay with my life for the loyalty of the people. I will also say, that I am sure, that the seed that we delivered to the dignous conscious of thousands and thousands of Chileans, will not be stifled.
The militaries have the strength and they can dominate us. But the social processes will not be stopped neither with the force nor the crime. The history is ours and is made by the people.
Workers of my fatherland! I am grateful for the loyalty You always gave me, the trust that You put in a man who only was interpreter for the greatest eager of justice and gave his word that he would respect the constitution and the law , and he kept his word. In this definitive moment, I turn to You for the last time and begging to learn from this: The foreign capital, the imperialism, united to the reaction, created the climate for the Military Forces to broke their tradition, a tradition who has been defended by Schneider and confirmed by the commander Araya, victims to the same social sector that today will be in their houses, waiting for someone else's hand reconquer the power to keep defending their profits and privileges.
I speak, above all, to the modest a workingwoman of our land, who worked harder, to the mother, which knew how warm the children laid on our hearts.
I speak to the free professionals, the patriots, who just days ago were working against the sedition sponsored by the Professional Associations, this associations of class who defend the advantages of a capitalist society that favours just a few of their members.
I speak to the youth, to those who sang and gave their happiness and fighting spirit.
I speak to the man of Chile, to the worker, to the farmer, to the intellectuals, to those who will be pursued; because the fascism has been present in our country since many days ago and again days back , it have been showed by the terrorist outrages, blowing up bridges, cutting the railways, destroying the oil and gas pipelines etc. But they who would have spoken.. (bomb explosions) The history will judge them!
Certainty will radio Magallanes be silenced, and the calm of my voice will not reach you, it doesn't matter. I will always be with you anyway, in your memories, where I at least will be remembered like an honest man, a man who was soldiery with the workers.
The people should defend themselves but not sacrifice themselves.
The people must not let be razed to the ground nor massacres but neither let be humiliated.
Workers of my fatherland: I have faith in Chile and its future. Other men will overcome this dark and bitter moment when treason is trying to be uppermost. You must continue to know that sooner, rather than later, grand avenues will be opened where free men will go to build a better society
