Scum have struck again. This time an 88 yr old pensioner in Westvale was woken
up in her bedroom to find a man forcibly removing rings from her fingers. Local
detectives have announced that the burglary took place between 1.00am and 7.00am;
the poor woman was so traumatised she could not recall the time exactly.
Local Westvale addict?
After the doubtless drugged up scumbag took the rings from this 88 yr old woman,
he then forced her downstairs whilst he ransacked the house. This will likely
be one of the local Westvale Crew of drug addicts, and some people in Kirkby
will know who this is. The description featured in the Echo newspaper simply said
the burglar was white, wearing a woolen hat and dark clothes.
Jewelry and £200 winter fuel allowance stolen
The items stolen in the despicable aggravated burglary include a gold Madonna
ring and a gold ring with a white cross and a chain which the poor woman was
wearing. The scumbag then took £200 in cash, which was payment for her winter
fuel allowance. There will likely be dealers in Westvale or elsewhere in Kirkby
who will have sold more drugs than usual to one of the punters.
Don't Buy off these people
Someone will have been offered the jewelry. This is a subject Kirkby Times
has breached and it has to be said that there are local people who are buying
the stuff the crack and heroin addicts are thieving from us. The people buying
this stolen property, robbed from houses, are as much part of the problem as
the addicts in some ways. Don't buy off these people. They are not legitimate
sales people who just happened to 'find' a video or car stereo. They are
thieving little scumbags who would rob our mothers, or grandmothers. By
buying stuff from them you are encouraging them to rob your neighbours.
Lowlife
Kirkby Police will be very keen to speak to anyone suspected of this crime.
Kirkby Times hopes the Police catch up with this blot on the Community. Please
volunteer any info. As said before, this is not breaking any code of honour
among thieves. Grassing scum like this is a service to the community. There
are reports of some people in Westvale who are tempted to take the law into
their own hands; such is the anger amongst the ordinary decent people who
are sick to death of these sorts of crimes. In some ways you hope that a
mob in Westvale gets to this lowlife before the Police do and pass the
matter over to some Judge who'll give this person 3 years tops. He'll
be out in 18 months.
25 years a fair sentance
Anyone breaking into a house should be given 10 years minimum. This
case deserves special treatment and everyone in Kirkby would agree
that this lowlife deserves a good 25 year sentence. I'm being generous,
others would just hang him.
It gets worse, a lot worse.
Just In, reports from locals say the pensioner has been burgled some 5 times previous to this.
If so, Westvale needs a clean up the scum campaign.
Treating our old folk like this is an absolute disgrace.
