Recently published figures by the Department of Health gave the Knowsley
PCT one star, which says it "significantly underachieved" and "gives cause
for concern" and not enough patients get access to GPs.

It's highly unlikely as she is better connected than the Royal Family,
and has sat on Health Quangos since they started in 1989. She was one
of Thatcher's cronies who voted to close Broadgreen A&E.
St Kevin's
As the Council continue to bury most of Kirkby under concrete,
building a huge housing estate on St Kevin's, and even building on the
landscape on Valley Rd, what's the response from the useless Councillors
who suppose to represent Kirkby ? Don't hold your breath!
Politically brain dead
Most of them are too politically brain dead to realise that hundreds
of new families in Kirkby need access to Doctors and Dentists as well as
greater demands on the Police and other services.
Kaiser Keight knew all this when he set about the destruction of Kirkby
and the enhancement of Huyton as the capital of his beloved Knowsley.
Now he has gone the Council, who will enjoy huge financial gains in
Council Tax, should plough this extra money into trying to recruit more
GPs and Dentists, and other key sector workers.
Former Chairman of the NHS Trust here victimised
Kirkby Times can exclusively reveal that ex Knowsley Councillor
Peter Fisher the former Chairman of the NHS Trust that merged
into the Knowsley PCT, was bombed out of this position by an
unscrupulous personal vendetta by Knowsley's MPs O'Hara and the
chinless wonder Howarth.
The Health Visitor and the Schedule One Sex Offender
Fisher had started the Councils Health strategy back in the early
90s, and was a widely respected long standing Chair of Social Services,
gaining the council a glowing commendation by the Dept of Health and Audit
Commission after reorganising the Dept in the mid 90s.. It is understood
O'Hara persecuted Fisher in Parliament over his refusal to re-employ a
woman as a Health Visitor ( with access to children and Families)after
she had been moved over her relationship with a Schedule One Sex Offender !
Ex Knowsley Councillor jailed for sexual offences against a young child
Before he left office Health Minister Milburn covered up for O'Hara
by his refusal to have an investigation after O'Hara's onslaught on
Fisher in Parliament. What would also be revealed is that in 1997,
O'Hara's right hand man in his constituency ex Councillor Bannister,
was jailed for sexual offences against a young child, he was given
glowing character references by a Huyton Councillor (Kearns) who
later, was unbelievably made Vice Chair of Education by Kaiser Keight.
Howarth - The worm turns
Political observers in Kirkby are at a loss to understand why
Howarth turned against such a staunch political ally like Fisher.
O'Hara and Howarth are close to Kaiser Keight who once threatened to
destroy Fisher over his campaign to save the St Kevin's fields.
Howarth openly supported the smear campaign against Fisher when he
left Labour in disgust. Howarth claims £125,000 a year on expenses,
on top of an MPs salary of £55,000, enjoys lucrative travel expenses,
and also trousers another £20.000 a year, courtesy of work on behalf
William Hill Bookmakers. This while thousands of his constituents
survive on benefits.
Don't vote for New Labour
No right minded person should ever vote Labour again whilst this
skulduggery is allowed to go on and is encouraged in the name of the
decent people in Kirkby who normally vote Labour.
