Wimpey's must believe Christmas as come early with the news that asset
stripping Knowsley Council is about to deliver the last remaining green
land in Kirkby, to them and other speculators on a plate. When Knowsley
escaped abolition in 1992, it decided to have its first UDP which took
nine years put together and be adopted.
Kaiser Keight's hidden agenda to concrete over Kirkby was hindered
by the plan which offered limited safeguards to what quality land was to
be left for this and future generations to enjoy.
Having sold off most of the land that should have been protected,
( i.e. St Kevin's) they hope to avoid any long delays or inquiry's that
could slow down the final sell off of land in Kirkby. Before the ink
is dry on the councils existing UDP, another plan is being prepared
which will have the Champagne corks popping in the Council,
and in the offices of Wimpeys and other speculators. (this is
called being business friendly) !
Meanwhile the good folk of Kirkby will be invited to comment on
the plan. As usual sly boots Knowsley will publish this in a
Saturday edition of the Liverpool Daily Post, buried away among
the small print in the public notices, so few people will ever see it.
Hit list of Schools to be demolished
Shortly after this, the hit list of Schools to be demolished
for the speculators will be revealed. The front sites of Holy Angels,
The Kirkby C/E, and Ruffwood are prime candidates to be flattened;
maybe this has hastened the sudden departure of Ruffwood's Head teacher
and Chair of Governors. They must know this is the type of vandalism
was associated with the ex Romanian dictator
Ceausescu
who destroyed valuable buildings to concrete over his towns and cities,
now I wonder if this is where Kaiser Keight draws his inspiration from?

Kirkby has run out of land
Knowsley are reluctant to tell people of Kirkby it has run out of
land, this sell off as been an appalling betrayal of the trust placed
in the new labour crew who are responsible for this right wing policy
of greed and asset stripping. The motley politically crew of Parker,
Crummie, Aston, Grannell, Smith, Clarke, and the wretched pair of Keats,
