Knowsley Housing Trust posted out another
issue of 'Your Home' a glossy magazine which was posted out often in the build up to
the sell off. The 'magazine' is now reduced to 4 pages, its called a performance
report and informs us that KHT have 'Delivered' on their 'promise to improve
housing repairs.
Below we provide documented video evidence that the 'delivered'
promise is actually a lie. KHT are lying when they say they have delivered
on promises to tenants of Oak Tower. Yes, lying. And they know that to sue
me for defamation would backfire as I have over 1000 photos and now a growing
collection of video evidence which proves KHT are not only lying, they are
endangering the lives of tenants. Tenants will also back me up and provide
affidavits that the conditions we endured were/are absolutely appalling
under KHT's 12 months of 'delivering' there promises. The video's have
audio commentary and can be viewed by clicking on the link or right
clicking and 'saving as'. The file size is approx 1.4 mb max - this
will take a while to download if you are connected via a 56k modem.
First Video - Documents the fact that lights on a stairway and communal
areas have been broken for 6 nights now. As stated, the problem was reported
to KHT on the 3rd of Oct and now on the 8th of Oct the lights still have not
been fixed.
Second Video - KHT allow racist graffiti to remain on view.
This problem was reported months ago - it took KHT ages to actually paint
over the graffiti - but you can still read the graffiti as it has not been
painted over properly. KHT like to make out they are anti racist. Why
would an organisation so 'anti racist' allow racist graffiti to simply
remain there? Are they racist? Or just ignorant?
Third Video shows a swastika which has been up for at least a year
and possibly longer. As stated on a previous video - I will paint over it myself and charge
KHT for the money I have spent.
Next time KHT post you a glossy mag telling us 'everything's great'
- my advice would be to take it with a massive pinch of salt.
KHT's first annual report will be assessed in greater detail soon
- but on the face of it - it's just spin-doctored rubbish. We also
hear that the reason KHT are 'dipping' into SRB funds (which should
be investigated) is due to some less than healthy finances. We also
have rumour of redundancies which Kirkby Times predicted would surely
happen if no new houses are being built and council homes being bought
off. Why , we ask, would an organisation given £280M to establish itself,
have to use other social regeneration funds to demolish its properties?
