Knowsley Councils
website seems to still have Jim Keight down as leader of the Council, and as you
can see by the screenshot of their website above, Keights photo still adorns the
home page, informing us all that Knowsley is a GOOD Council.
Kirkby Times has e-mailed to ask the webmasters to make sure the website removes
Keight from it, he is no longer the leader and no longer anything to do with the Council.
Keight is now history, and hopefully he will be soundly beaten next year if he remains
healthy enough to actually stand.
Keight must be denied any priviledged information
There should be a strict warning given to Councillors who may try to
furnish Keight with confidential information as Keight will want
to keep up with inside events. There will be attempts by Keight
to try and exercise control still, and Councillors who will be
desperate for his advice as they have been left without a hand
to hold and the favours which Keight gave to the 'trusted'.
We have no doubt that Keight will try to organise some meetings
desperately to get the 'troops' to hold the fort. Maybe he'll be
shredding a few papers as well, who knows what Keight has done
in his 27 years in Office.
