There is a big fight looming in the St Michaels ward, Huyton. Due to the death of Fred Curran, Keight got nominated to stand in June; Ronnie Round apparently made a phone plea to Gary Robertson (Conservative) not to call a by-election in St Michaels, but the drums are beating. If there is a by-election and Keight wins it, there will possibly be a big fight for leader between Round & Keight.

Keight's head on a platter

If Keight loses his by-election it may be Keight's final swan song. Huyton lads want his head on a platter and will fight hard; they are asking Gary to call it now.

Secret Meeting?

There are rumours of a secret meeting with Keight, Brian O'Hare, Arthur Murphy, Margaret Flaherty, Andy Moorhead, Eddie O'Hara and Ken Keith recently in Prescot, Ronnie, we hear, was not informed or invited? The mind boggles!!
