Wake up and smell the coffee, self-satisfied Kirkby foke! (sic)
Here's an e-mail below from someone who asks 7 questions then makes a disgraceful comment
regarding Hillsborough only a few days before the anniversary. We do plan to publish a number
of e-mails received, this is ongoing, but this e-mail in particular deserves airing because
it ends with the phrase "Publish this if you dare, big boys!" and comes from someone
using company e-mail to slander the good folk of Kirkby and Liverpool fans in general.
Kirkby Times is asking anyone who reads this to e-mail John Howarth, especially any
Liverpool Fans. His address is published below.
Here's the e-mail in full, feel free to e-mail John to thank him and his Company,
who, I am sure, will be delighted to have their name associated with his remarks.
How many of
you guys have ever been out of Kirkby, never mind England? What
right, then, have any of you the right to question the foreign policies of
our governnment? How well informed are you? Do you actually read anything
else apart from your own pathetic propaganda? If not, well join the club,
because successive dictatorships since 1933 - whether fascist or communist
- behaved just like you are now.
Indeed, do any of you speak any foreign
languages, apart from Scouse? Do any of you have any idea of the crimes
perpetuated by Saddam Hussein? You claim to be poor working-class people
who never had the opportunity of a good education. But how many of you
disrupted classes and made teachers' lives hell at school just because you
thought it was the cool thing to do? Blame your parents, not The System, as
you put it, for letting you down. They were just as stupid as you
yourselves for not getting it through to you that WORK and PERSONAL
RESPONSIBILITY are the way out.
As for Hillsborough, again WAKE UP. The police were hard on AWAY fans in
those days, there's no doubt about it, and were guilty of some poor
behaviour. But, it was the Liverpool fans who pushed and shoved in an
effort to enter the stadium in the first place - never forget that. And
finally, clean up your Website. You are really not helping the image of
Merseyside in the eyes of either Britains or Europeans ... or Liverpudlians
living abroad. Publish this if you dare, big boys!

A: Yes, we have the right to question the foreign policies of ANY government if we so desire.

A: No exact figures but generally some kids will, for a number of reasons, be disruptive.
