Among the different title heads buried away by the Council is the £120 per week (tax-free) travelling expenses claimed by Cllr B O'Hare, for attending Council meetings. All Council meetings are held in Huyton and our Brian lives a stones throw away from the Council offices. So how does he claim £5,200 a year incurring travel costs that must include the use of Concorde to travel the one mile daily!

Cllr E Grannell or Ted to the comrades. This man of the people, from Southdene, came into local politics quite late, and is now also a state pensioner; he supplements this with a large slice of our money from the Council and the Quangos he sits on. Pulls in £16, 000 per year, thank you very much.

Another questionable grant and another failed public funded scheme

This though is chickenfeed due to the daring enterprise of his mate, our old friend Kaiser Keight, who in a secret meeting, personally approved a £75,000 grant to Ted and a few chums, to set up a furniture recycle group called F.A.C.E. It folded after a short while, and the money vanished as well!

Joanne Wilson victimised by the bullies of Knowsley Council

When Joanne Wilson, the intellectual Councillor for Northwood, tried to raise this scandal she was bullied by the system that has suppressed any attempts to clean up local politics, she left in disgust. She wouldn't be surprised to learn that once the dust settled, Keight made his pal Grannell- wait for it- DEPUTY Boss of FINANCE!

2004 Council Elections
