Gary Aaronson: Kirkby BNP candidate has his say

bnp vs new labour

I was born in Kirkby over 41 years ago, my mother worked at the Birdseye, my father was a Merchant Seaman for over 25 years making "stones", big lumps of reinforced concrete that make up most of post-war Merseyside. Both my grandfathers were dockers. The Labour Party they believed in, the one I joined and worked for doesn't exist anymore.

When I left school in 1979 I was too young to vote in the election. We didn't know what lay ahead, or for how long. The 80's were a disaster for Kirkby. The 90's found me wondering around Wirral campaigning for labour in the election, we won.

Then came 1997 and Labour were elected as the Government, 18 years waiting came to an end. I drank myself into a coma and waited for Labour to put things right. We got Cool Britannia, the Dome, the end of Mink farming and the "Peace Process". I got an extra £1 a week, MP's got 40%.Then the penny dropped, Labour likes poverty because poor people vote Labour. That's why they never really try to reduce it. Why has Labour not restored University grants? To stop poor people going. Ignorant people stay poor people.

Why did they scrap Grammar schools? Because they select by talent not income. Ignorant people stay poor people. Why doesn't labour remove all illegal immigrants from Britain? Because it wants to attract as many of the world's poorest people to Britain as it can, poor people vote Labour. Sounds crazy - then why are they not removed? Labour talk about removing them but always seem to fail, why? Last year Labour agreed to 10 east European countries joining the E.U. These ten countries have combined population of 75 million, average unemployment over 20% and average annual income just over £2k,£40 a week, which means many people live on a lot less.

Britain and Ireland gave these people the right of abode from day one, the other 13 countries won't to do so for 7 years. So next year 75 million peasants from Eastern Europe could move to Britain for the price of a one way bus ticket, they'd be mad not to. Even if 1 in 20 come that makes nearly 4 million. But why should Labour worry?, these people wont be looking for work as MP's, Lawyers or Journalists but low paid unskilled manual work at £4.25 an hour. Just how many vacancies do you know for shepherds or pig farmers? It may sound crazy but after 18 years in opposition and 6 years in power they will never risk loosing another election.

Ask yourself just one question, when did you last hear of poor people voting Tory? Kirkby is a poor area, and its going to get poorer from now on. Why? Because no Council can spend what it doesn't get and it can only spend what it does get once.

Merseyside gets Objective One money from the European Union because it is so poor, but next year, when most of Eastern Europe joins, this extra cash will stop coming to Merseyside and start heading East. On its own that would be bad enough but it won't stop at this. Our ever generous Labour Government has given these people the right to move to Britain from day one, all 75 million. How will the government get the money to provide housing, education, healthcare and food for these people, possibly millions! How can they find the cash? Easy. Spend less on something else, like the Kirkby lady refused a sight saving operation. This refusal cost this woman her eyesight but saved thousands of pounds, but that's alright because the money will be spent on far more deserving immigrants and asylum seekers. Don't like it? Tough. All governments have priorities and for Labour, Kirkby is low on the list, and the list is getting longer all the time.

For Labour poverty means votes, votes means power, power means wealth-for them not us. Labour masterminded this mess and you may well have voted for it. If you vote Labour on May 1st don't complain about them on May 2.Don't let labour take us for granted. Vote BNP on May 1st and remind Labour that charity begins at home.
