As Kirkby Times was closed down by New Labourites in Kirkby - Tony Blair
kicked off another New Labour 'Cool Britannia' type of PR stunt by announcing
a scheme called 'THE BIG CONVERSATION', which is basically the Prime Minister
pushing a 77-page document setting out "the challenges faced by Britain" and also a web-site!.
In the document, Blair wrote: "It's time for a grown up discussion" He
forgot to tell Knowsley Council that one though!
'Big Issues need Real Debate'
Just as Tony Blair was announcing this 'BIG CONVERSATION' in Wales, I
was busy finding somewhere to host Kirkby Times after Kirkby's chance of a
'Big Conversation' here on a local website was denied by the New Labour
run Council. Kirkby Times discusses many important issues but Tony Blair,
who told his audience in Wales that "Big issues need real debate", done
so as Knowsley Council decided to stifle debate on Big Issues like Sonae,
the Academy Land Deal and many other 'Big Issues' besides! As Blair spoke
of "a big conversation between politicians and the people" Kirkby Times
was shut down in a blatant attempt to shut down the ongoing conversations
between the people of Kirkby and our Councillors and both the MPs here
in Knowsley, George Howarth and his partner in the House of Nonsense,
Eddie O Hara.
New Labour talk about 'BIG CONVERSATIONS' but in truth what people have
to say to them is not endearing. Most of the material that gets passed to
Kirkby Times is highly offensive to our local MP's and some of the
Councillors, these people may be shocked to hear the level of abuse
but to most working class people its standard conversation. When we
talk about politicians its not really to praise them is it?
"In politics, stupidity is not a handicap"
Napoleon Bonaparte
Looking at our MP's and New Labour Councillors here, you have to conclude
that Napoleon Bonaparte was spot on.
