The photo above shows the Hillsborough Justice Campaigns Office on the day of the 13th Anniversary of the Hillsborough Disaster.Sometime in the evening of 15th April 2002, there was a break in at the office.

The Hillsborough Justice Campaign offices break in and the incident 24 hours previous had little publicity in the local papers. Whilst the actual Hillsborough Center had been closed for 3 years, the possibility of important evidence still being left on any computers may well have been the motive for this incident.

The break in at the Hillsborough Justice Campaigns Office occurred hours after Families Survivors and supporters had attended the Anniversary March from the Campaigns shop to the Hillsborough Memorial at the nearby Anfield Football Stadium, home of Liverpool FC. The thieves were actually spotted acting suspiciously by a witness who wished to remain anonymous. The Police were informed and it has to be said that the Officers who attended the burglary were pretty good and their impressions were that this was a professional job, where the thieves had gone to a great deal of trouble to steal a computer which would bring a couple of hundred pounds. The thieves had actually broke through 3 empty flats to gain entrance. The method of entry was pretty precise as the entry point was the computer Room/Office.The alarm was disabled. There were other expensive items around such as various bottle's of spirits for raffle's and other stuff which one would think a common burglar would take.
