CNN are one of the World biggest media organisations, but that doesn't mean they don't get it wrong. On CNN's website, the following article informs us as to the 'facts' of the Hillsborough football disaster.

95 fans crushed in British soccer stadium -- April 15, 1989

What began as a crucial soccer match between British rivals at Sheffield's Hillsborough Stadium suddenly turns into the most violent scene in European "football" history. Minutes after the game begins, thousands of late-arriving fans surge into the already-packed stadium, creating a virtual death-trap in the stadium's standing-room-only seating area. Ninety-five people are killed and nearly 2,000 injured.

CCN should ashamed of themselves. A so called 'world leader' in 'news reporting' seem to have written up the sort of article that ignorant dickheads post up on internet forums every now and again. It's a re-run of the SCUM (sun 'news' paper) article which appeared on the 19th of April 1989. CNN blame the disaster on the 'thousands of late arriving fans', who 'surge' into the stadium creating a 'death-trap'.



CNN have made a big mistake with leaving this article up, they are promoting the same tired old lies which were used by South Yorkshire Police back in 1989. They seem to forget that there are still bereaved families fighting for Justice, but once this news is circulated around the internet, CNN can rest assured that they are going to have to apologise and remove/alter the article to reflect the truth. This article will be forwarded to the Hillsborough Justice Campaign who will alert their supporters worldwide that CNN are the latest offenders in the attempted rewriting of our history.
