*The above article appeared in the Sunday Mirror Sunday the 30th of March 2003 and so far, has not been reported anywhere else, likely in case any more soldiers realise that this war is going to get a lot bloodier and that they have been fooled into fighting for American Oil Interests.

Misled by the Politicians

The British Army, like all Army's is misled by the Politicians. The Troops who may eventually return home, will, like the troops who went to the Gulf in 1991, be excess baggage once they return home. This time though, the Troops are not repelling an invading Iraq Army from Kuwait, they are aggressively invading Iraq to replace the Government with USA stooges who can steal the Iraq Oil and carve up the Countries lucrative rebuilding contracts. They are expected to kill civilians and now treat every Iraq with the suspicion that they may be a terrorist.

It would be better for any Working class lads now in the gulf or perhaps stationed here to refuse to fight. We have already seen the first coffins coming home, with more to come. Draped with Union Jacks, they are the ultimate proof of the limits to which Tony Blair would go to use us, as all Politicians use us.

Refuse to Fight.

To any serving soldiers. Refuse to Fight. This is not a fight to defend the British people, nor is it to give the Iraqi's liberation. It is not a 'just war'. If England was invaded the way we have invaded Iraq, we too would fight. If anyone was dropping bombs on Kirkby, we'd want to kill them. The Iraqi's are not doing anything less than we would do. What's more, they deserve to win, and despite the odds stacked against them, in the long run, holding Iraq will mean too great a loss for both us and them. If they are prepared to die to defend their Country, we will eventually lose. We have seen that all too clearly in Ireland.
