It didn't take long before the 'Jobs Rush' in Iraq began. In fact, even though the War is very much still ongoing, the very first advert for jobs in Iraq appeared in the Liverpool Echo Newspaper today on April the 10th 2003.

Even though Tony Blair has assured us Iraq will belong to the Iraqi people, we all know it's a lie as the various firms here in the UK eye up the money they can make . Even as British Soldiers wait to be bought home in Coffins, we have a UK firm ready to muscle right in there and put adverts in our Local newspapers asking for 'Young Energetic Site Engineers to assist with upcoming work in Iraq after stabilisation'

This insensitive declaration to profiteer from a War which is still killing people deserves a mention on Kirkby Times. The Liverpool Echo should ashamed of themselves for allowing the advert to be published. The advert is proof that this War will be used by many UK firms to make a big profit. The poor people of Iraq will see little of their Countries profits by the time the parasites of UK commercial interests grab a slice of the pie.
