Video of Black Watch Suicide Bombing Appears on Internet
"The first martyrdom operation against the British forces in Baghdad"
What you see below is an animation, which is produced from a video reportedly showing
the suicide bombing on the Black Watch regiment. The sequence shows the opening credit
and new al Qaeda in Iraq logo - then we see the car traveling towards what is
reported to be the British roadblock. The explosion is massive, and afterwards a cloud
of smoke rises up. The closing credit is my own addition.

As the video of a previous Black Watch suicide bombing was released, two
more Black Watch soldiers were targeted in another apparent suicide bombing. The
two soldiers suffered serious injuries to their lower legs, and were said to be
in a stable condition. They had been travelling in an armoured Warrior vehicle
on the west bank of the Euphrates River when it was reportedly rammed by the
suicide bomber's car.
Now it seems that the first Black Watch suicide bombing was videoed by
the new Al Qaeda in Iraq group, supposedly led by Abu Musab al Zarqawi, the
leader of the former Tawhid and Jihad, under whose banner Ken Bigley was
murdered. (you can read an extensive article on Mr Z here) I was made aware
of this video at 1500 hrs BST on the 07 Nov, the video was widely circulated
after appearing on an Islamic Jihad website.
Since the new renaming of the former Tawhid and Jihad to Al Qaeda of the
land of the two rivers, the groups videos have changed. The videos, as
regular readers and followers of the WW3 commentary on your local friendly
website will know, are professionally made in as much as they use intro music
and credits and other artistic tricks.
This video begins with a short rant against America and doubtless the
UK - then it shows the new 'al Qaeda in Iraq' logo. Islamic chanting begins,
a haunting tune which will be familiar to those who have seen the previous
Tawhid and Jihad videos.
As the Islamic chanting continues, we see a snatch of what looks like BBC or Sky
footage of the Black Watch preparing there troops, and the Regimental chaplain
blessing the troops. We then see what appears to be the car carrying the VBIED
(vehicle borne improvised explosive device). It looks like a four wheel drive Vehicle , much used by Western contractors over there. The car heads
towards what seems to be the UK Troops in the distance
who have a roadblock of some sort set up, the Black Watch will certainly know if this
indeed the attack on them by simply viewing the video themselves as the layout can
easily be determined by those present. A subtitle claims "The first martyrdom
operation against the British forces in Baghdad"
The car heads towards the roadblock, whilst a voiceover and some Islamic
chanting continues, the voiceover proclaims at one point "I swear that the head of
America has been rolled in the dust and trampled on by our heroes." As
the car gets closer, the camera operator himself speaks out the inevitable words
'Allah Akbar'. The prayer of death as we've become to know it, is spoken
out 7 times or so before the car finds its target and a tremendous explosion is heard.
The fireball itself seems to cover 100 to 150 square feet. The video camera seems to
be positioned perhaps a mile from the target.
Sometime after the explosion the cameraman focuses on what seems to be a tank
and several armoured vehicles. No timestamp is on the video. An American helicopter
is seen hovering then landing , ferrying the injured no doubt. Helicopters are taken
down at a rate of one per month and the Americans landing the copter was a risk in
itself. American surgeons are highly skilled due to much practice, and they have
already seen every injury known to man.
It looks like the Troops abandoned the idea of the roadblock not long after the attack.
At that point the camera man, and perhaps a few of those involved, move down the road to
inspect the damage they've done. Ever since the Americans let hundreds of tons of explosives
go missing, it seems the bombers can afford to use very high amounts of high explosives so
you'd expect wreckage to be strewn around the place. Whilst looking around the bombsite,
they come across a severed arm. The camera focuses as one of the men there casually
kicks the arm over, then puts his foot on the upturned hand, grinding it down into
the ground. A subtitle reads "these are some of the body parts that they have not
seen because there were so many."
Doubtless this video will be used by the media to stoke up the Black Watch
to 'hit back hard'. Some officers are already talking that old fighting
talk. We won't see the video of UK & US bombing victims. We soon forget 10% of
the 'shock and awe' destruction of Baghdad was caused by UK bombs.
We 've killed hundreds if not thousands of Iraqis but as UK and US officers
tell us "We don't do body counts". We will if it's the bodies of UK or
US troops. They matter. The Iraqi kids we slaughter don't.
It should be Blair out there, and Straw and the rest of warmongering new
labour party. Thank God Blair was not around during Vietnam - because he would
have sent the UK troops on another pointless war, one in which America got
deservedly beaten. America has now entered another Vietnam, and this time
Blair is there to make sure that the Black Watch, before it is perhaps
disbanded forever, will be killed off litrally as Scottish working class
lads find themselves sent to the badlands by a lunatic American president
who talks to God. Whilst there, they find other men, who also talk to God,
whilst driving towards roadblocks or vechiles or whatever otherwise
impenetrable target they choose in this manner. Most sane people are
just praying that the troops come home. Sadly, the odds are that God
is sick to death of us starting wars then expecting him to take sides.
If there is a God, He (or She) is sitting this one out.
The things they said
"The Jocks are well and coming at it with their usual humour," Lieutenant
Colonel James Cowan, Black Watch leader, plays the down the first attack by trying
to patronise the working class. James was educated at Wellington College in Berkshire
and Pembroke College, Oxford. The upper class point of view of the war = Stick together
chaps - lets give those Iraqis a damn good bashing for old Blighty and the City of
London stock Exchange. I'll be back at the officers mess if you need me, chin up
and God save the Oil, I mean, Queen.
"We think Bush is an arsehole for starting a war over nothing, trying to get money and oil.
That's what Paul thought. I think they should just get the boys out of there now.
If not we're going to lose a lot more than this". Black Watch
soldier & brother of Paul Lowe, one of the 3 lads killed in the attack.
The working class point of view of the war = Get out - its not worth it. Why
should we die for a lunatic American president and his God Squad mates.
