Welcome To Camp Dogwood![]() One young Black Watch soldier already lies dead, and 3 of his comrades slightly injured when a vehicle overturned as the convoy of British Vehicles headed off through the desert roads. The Ministry of Defence claims this was a 'vehicle accident not involving hostile action', but in reality they are on a mission to attack another town and the convoy is hardly a peace convoy of goodwill. There have already been several attempts to blow up Black Watch soldiers with improvised explosive devices along the road and an attack by rocket or mortar already reported on Camp Dogwood. The first wave of Black Watch are now settling down for the night as I finish this article. The troops' destination is a military-industrial complex called Camp Dogwood which lies some 15 miles south west of Baghdad. The camp has a 26-mile perimeter. Most of the Black Watch regiment were apparently flown to the Camp situated on the doorstep of some of the most dangerous places in Iraq, and areas were Iraqis have been slaughtered by the thousands. A rousing reception no doubt awaits the British at some point. Many of the Black Watch soldiers have been tricked like the USA troops into having there tours of duty extended. Some of the lads now in Dogwood should have been back home with there families right now as they had served there allotted time. The locals have become pretty effective at fighting the Americans, who have gradually lost control of the entire surrounding region to the point were no-one enters the area with a massive amount of firepower to back them up. Nowhere in Iraq is safe right now. The UK presence will free the Americans to help in the ongoing mass murder, butchery and genocide of Fallujahs civilians and doubtless the destruction of many more homes and work places and community amenities. Camp Dogwood had up to 4000 US soldiers stationed there at one point and now it will serve as the Camp whilst British patrols visit the surrounding neighbourhoods. 843 Americans wisely desertGeoffrey Hoon told the House of Commons on the 21st Oct 2004 that the deployment to relive American positions in American battle zones would be made up of "850 troops" , this comes after original figures of 650 were banded about perhaps to originally test the water. The deployment is said to be going to last "weeks rather than months", and the troops were promised they would be coming home for Christmas when other soldiers, perhaps more than 850, will relive them. Ironically and perhaps linked to this, is a recent US Army report which states that '843 former soldiers have failed to comply with Army orders to get back in uniform and report for duty in Iraq or Afghanistan'. So 843 Yanks 'fail to report for duty' and 850 UK soldiers get told to report for duty in American positions. Maybe it's a co-incidence. Maybe the Black Watch soldier might ponder the fact that he's taking the place of some Yank who didn't fancy getting his 'ass' or other bits of his body blown off. Some call these 'deserters' cowards, but in reality they are people who don't fancy being killed for a pack of lies. I'd call them clever. They realise they have no real business being in Iraq and realise the people sending them there are liars and cheats and cowards. They've made a wise choice, and one which may well save there lives.Blind ObedienceFor the British soldier, they have to hold fast to the sick ideology of the upper classes which demands the common soldier does what he is told to do without questioning orders. In 1921, the British Air force resorted to dropping poison gas down on the Iraqi Kurds who were rebelling, this is the so called Glory the British Army has bought in years past to Iraqis. (more here on the British past involvement in Iraq) However, for the obedient soldier, following orders, as seen by the decisions of the Nuremberg Trials, matters little if you lose. The Iraqi resistance, you can rest assured, will never be charged in any legitimate international court of law for defending there Country. British soldiers are already being charged for there part in the war, for crimes ranging from basic assault to illegal killings.American soldiers refuse to drive to Taji Base, British Troops follow orders blindlyMaybe the Americans are waking up at last and we've already recently had 18 US Soldiers refuse to drive a convoy to Taji base though the story received little publicity. Sadly though, the British seem to obey orders whilst American troops have in the past gone so far as to roll hand grenades in the tents of sleeping officers who the troops thought were too bloodthirsty or reckless. Many bloodthirsty and unreasonable officers were killed in Vietnam, and this 'officer disposal scheme' was called 'fragging'. Following orders is one thing, but following the orders of upper class and glory hunting officers is often suicidal. The Class System in the British Armed ForcesThe British Army is a classic mirror of the British class system, with the working class doing the dirty work as the common soldier and cannon or IED Fodder. (Improvised explosive device) The wages for the basic Brit soldier amount to 97p odd pence an hour over in Iraq. Remember a solider at war is ALWAYS on duty 24hrs a day and 7 days a week. The people they fight have no 'fixed working hours'. You'd actually make more than 97p per hour begging in Liverpool City Centre or collecting 'pennies for the Guy' These lads are earning paperboy wages risking there lives in Iraq, it's a joke, but the Black Watch lads are excused if they don't all laugh at once. The middle class in the army will be middle ranking officers and will earn at least twice as much as the ordinary IED fodder. The top officers and generals, in the UK army, are almost always the upper class posh types. They get paid handsomely, and can avoid those IED's!Taking our 'fair share' of punishment for AmericaThe Black Watch regiment, already threatened with being disbanded recently, are near the area were Ken Bigley was reportedly killed in Al-Latifiyah. This seems convenient that the death of Ken is almost being used as an excuse for British Troops to murder more Iraqis. This development makes this issue all the more topical as we recently looked at the history of the British Army in Iraq and previous visits to Baghdad. The British public are naïve if they think British troops can just patrol the 'quiet parts' forever, this request by the USA for us to go into a killing zone, part of the Sunni Triangle, has been a long time coming and it is likely that America believe we are not taking our fair share of punishment. Despite the British armies so called 'softly softly approach', the British in Basra have killed women and kids and we always knew they would do so if thousands of gun carrying men were sent to a land were no-one wants them. If the Iraqis liked this 'softly softly' approach so much, why then we may ask are the Iraqis shooting at them? The British Army is not on some 'softly softly' humanitarian campaign, forget the media propaganda, the British soldiers are the poorly paid partners in a smash and grab raid on Iraqs oil. If any Iraqis come between them and that objective, the soldiers have clear and precise orders to kill and have carried out those orders on a good many occasions using bombs, guns and many other methods. Most Iraqis, apart from the usual traitorous elements who'd sell out there Country, want the Americans and British out.![]() UK Body Count vs USA Body CountAmerica cannot be trusted to tell the truth as regards there own casualty figures, and the figures so far given are from the US Military sources so should be treated with caution. America has an estimated 138,000 troops in Iraq, at least 10,000 of whom have been sent home injured or in a body bag/coffin. Britain has some 9,000 troops in Iraq, operating in the relatively peaceful Shi'ite majority area in the southern port city of Basra. It is not reported how many UK Troops have been injured to the extent that they have had to be flown back home. Americans are losing limbs every day and the surgeons in USA bases in Germany have a massive wealth of experience now in dealing with every horrific injury known to man. Sixty-eight British soldiers have been killed in Iraq, compared with more than 1100 U.S. troops. At least 10 UK troops have been killed by the USA's blundering ways, 12 UK troops have died in road traffic accidents and 4 of natural causes. The 6 Red caps who were killed by 200 armed angry Iraqis, seemed to have been victims of the British armies short-sightedness or bad planning, the six were left alone and unsupported in a town brimming over with anger at British raids and alleged insults against Muslims. Taking the piss out of these people will get your mates killed, and my guess is that a minority of idiots have already done this in Basra. Other deaths involve lack of body armour and lack of blocking devices to stop Iraqi resistance remote controlled bombs being triggered by radio or phone. (Reports indicate that the Iraqis are well aware of the blocking equipment and have other means to detonate remote controlled bombs.) Very few soldiers even get a chance to get a shot off when they are killed, only a handful have had the 'honour' of dying whilst perhaps firing away on a gun at the enemy. For most USA troops, they don't even see what hit them and were perhaps telling a joke to the lads as there humvee or jeep passed over a carefully buried remote controlled bomb, or some RPG toting resistance fighter hits them. Some feel nothing as some sharpshooter, with a snipers rifle aims off the one carefully placed bullet straight between some Americans eyes. In Sept 2004, a total of 80 USA troops were killed, whilst only 3 British troops died. In March 2004, not one British death was reported, but America lost at least 100 soldiers. The way America sees things is that we've not done our duty and spilt enough blood. If America loses 100 troops, our sacrifice should equal out at perhaps 5 or 6. We're trailing behind in serious injuries and deaths, and if the Bank of England and Wall St are to share in the imagined oil wealth we think we can steal, we need more Scousers and Scots and Geordies and Cockneys to spill blood for the 'cause'. This oil for blood deal might not be understood by the British public, but in the next few weeks we might realise just what this deal is. By then, many will have worked out that none of us will be seeing the wealth anyway because defeat, despite what the British media says, is just a matter of time.![]() The 'softly softly' approach?British Troops in Basra would argue that there own low casualty rate is due to the British being more 'softly softly' and not killing as many civilians as the Yanks. The British Army is almost being painted as some kind gentlemanly organisation who are over there to extend the hand of friendship with the Arabs and play polo. The British Armies 'softly softly' approach is a myth and many employed by the British Army cannot even treat there comrades with the due respect they deserve. Given the British Army has a tradition of being led by upper class perverts who once swaggered about our Country, and others, murdering people and raping local women at will, what can we expect? Ask the bereaved families of the Deepcut barracks victims, these victims about the 'softly softly' spin-doctored crap. The victims all supposedly killed themselves in a British Army barracks, yet there families claim there is a cover up. We now find an instructor there was a serial sexual abuser and bully. The British Army was due to be investigated before this War for widespread culture of bullying in barracks up and down the Country, standards are falling everywhere and the Army reflects this but hides it more than most. As long as our Army is led by the traitorous upper classes and gutless politicians, it is more a danger to the British people and will continue to sacrifice decent working class lads for there disgusting greed. The Iraqis who saw eight-year-old Hanan Saleh Matrud shot dead by a member of B Company of the 1st Battalion of the King's Regiment, would also listen with disbelief at this 'softly softly' talk. What we are really saying is 'we've not killed as many innocent people as the Americans'. The RAF kept details of there bombing raids secret so we won't ever know how many people they killed as they helped the Yanks with the initial (and now forgotten by the West) Shock and Awe bombing terror campaign. It was a public display of terrorism from the West, or the USA and her faithful servants. Most of the British are in a relatively easy area, as the Shi'ites in Basra, effective though the Mehdi Army is, the units in Basra cannot match the sophistication and battle experience of there comrades and brothers in Fallujah, Sadhr City and other places around Baghdad. The Black Watch regiment now face the better armed and extremely dangerous elements of the former armed republican guards and long serving professional soldiers in the so called Sunni triangle. A quick comparison of attacks shows that the USA troops are targeted more due to geographical location. We've only had a few British vehicles carrying troops deliberately blown up, and if one UK vehicle burns, we generally see the photos or hear about it. There are so many American vehicles blown up that there are actually video compilations of USA troops being blown up available online, as well as plenty of photos. There is not one photo of a dead UK soldier on the internet, yet there are plenty of dead Americans, plus video footage. More UK troops have died in RTA's than RPG hits, but this might change. The Sunnis are hitting back harder and more effectively, and if they unite with the Shi'ites then it is game set and match for the Iraqi Resistance and time for us to head for the boats. One thing is for sure, when British troops patrol the dangerous towns and villages dotted around Camp Dogwood, they'll be seeing for themselves that the Americans are taking a bit of a battering and will begin to suspect USA casualties are more than reported. They'll hear the Yanks curse Bush and there own lunatic Generals, plus they'll hear them curse Islam and call the Iraqis 'sand niggers' and 'cockroaches'. Our troops will see how Americans don't get 'friendly' with the natives, because the natives understandably, want to kill them for bombing then invading there Country. Forget the Sexual Abuse, let's get Zarqawi/Bomb FallujahThe Americans are murdering Iraqi children, raiding Mosques, and are even sick enough to hand out sweets to Iraqi kids despite the obvious dangers. Known American sexual perverts were given the task of guarding Iraqi POWs, this includes men women and children. The American Whitehouse is reported to have in there possession videos of children being sexually abused by the sick twisted guards. Ever since the public exposure of the Americans torture in Abu Graib prison , the Yanks have had us running after Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and Tawhid and Jihad. This is the reason the Black Watch are in the area or so we are told. And in an Orwellian turn of events, Tawhid and Jihad is now renamed 'al Qaeda in Iraq' or 'al Qaeda in the land of the two rivers', so Bush has 'found' proof of Saddam's involvement after all! Fallujahs residents deny ever seeing the man of mystery Abu Musab al Zarqawi, yet the USA are about to commit a murderous and reckless bombing and destruction of the area because Fallujahs residents and the Resistance leaders 'won't give up Zarqawis network'. No-ones seen this so called Zarqawi but he is now an excuse to commit mass murder. The British Army are perhaps about to write the most sordid chapter in its history, and our Army is now being led by the Fascists of the U.S.A."Combat is what I've been trained for. I can command my vehicle. I can keep it from being attacked. What I have not been trained to do is look over my shoulder to see whether an American is shooting at me." LCoH Gerrard, survivor of incident when three British soldiers were wounded and one was killed when USA anti tank aircraft A10, shot at and destroyed two armoured vehicles 35 miles north of Basra. 22 yr old lad joins Navy commandos 'in memory of Ken Bigley'The Americans 'gung ho' and reckless behaviour was noticed when the war started and a good deal of British casualties were caused by the Yanks. This website stated that British soldiers might be whipped up into believing they are going to capture Ken Bigleys killers, just like the USA troops were offered the 'lets get Bin Laden & al Qaeda' ruse. The Liverpool Echo (21 Oct 2004) featured an almost full page article in which a 22 yr old from Kirkby, Liverpool, is set to rejoin the Navy but is looking to go on patrol as a commando. Hopefully by the time this training will be over, the British troops will have left Iraq and he'll be sent to Germany were the only danger is the clap off some lady of the night or an RTA. Maybe he'll go to the Falkland Islands were the only dangers are stepping in sheep crap and maybe being attacked by penguins. The 22yr old stated that the murder of Ken Bigley and his subsequent anger at the news led him to rejoin and to 'go back out there and do something positive'; he further adds that "It wouldn't bother me being sent to a trouble spot, I'm up for anything". That's why the army uses 22 yr old lads, they are the bravest in as much as they will fight anyone and take more risks. These are the lads who should be rebuilding this country and keeping our streets safe from those who would harm us. His mum and dad were understandably less than enthusiastic at his 'up for anything' speech. Obviously they have to support there lad if he makes the choice and ends up out there. Like most people from Kirkby they sensibly oppose the war and recognise that it's more or less about oil theft than liberating Iraq. Most people in Kirkby feel this way.One ManA lot of lads who killed the Germans in WW2, later grew fond of there old enemy, so much so that 50 years after our media whipped us up into a frenzy, only the most ignorant British (and the Sun gutter-rag) have any resentment for the German people. That war was a bloody waste of life and saw some of the bravest lads of both sides butchered. This is my fear about Iraq and it's obviously a reality being played out day after day. We should recall that although one man called Adolf Hitler was originally the enemy in WW2, by the time we 'sorted him out' some 50 Million lay dead and hundreds of thousands were injured, made homeless, made landless and were traumatised, in what started off as a campaign to target one man. As we begin this mission to wipe out just another 'one man' called Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, how many million people will be dead when we finally declare this war over?'Iraqis do not like people walking around there streets with guns'Older lads would not be so quick to presume that patrolling the streets of Iraq with guns is doing something positive for the Iraqis, nor will most of the Black Watch who are pissed off and angry that there filling the gap for America. The Black Watch have been sent to cover the Americans because of the USA Armed Forces inability to recruit enough Americans to fill the gap of the 1100 dead, and 8000 or so out of action, plus the 843 deserters we know about. Ken Bigley, we may recall, told us clearly that 'Iraqis do not like people walking around there streets with guns'. Ken Bigley would still be alive today had Blair had the guts to not send UK Troops to Iraq. So, perhaps a better way to commemorate Kens death would be not to join up and not to provoke more Iraqis into rightfully fighting what they see as an illegal invasion and occupation. It wasn't even an Iraqi group which killed Ken Bigley, no-one can even prove Zarqawi has stepped foot in Iraq or is even alive. But the Liverpool Echo, whose shadowy owners seem to essentially support the bloodshed of working class IED fodder in Iraq, won't dwell on this matter and promptly use lads signing up as part of the never-ending Media Propaganda Campaign of emotional blackmail to force people to 'support our boys'. Almost every week features a tale of another lad joining the army, this happens in every local paper in the UK. We see working class lads escaping the giro-cheque blues held up as heroes just for joining the Army. George Orwell must be laughing in his grave at the manner in which this blatant propaganda is used to great effect. Let's call the Echo articles unpaid adverts for the Armed Forces. The British media is happy to forget the 'Illegal war' and 'No WMD' situation and promote these 'feel good' propaganda news items which might encourage more young men to use Ken Bigleys name as an excuse to go and point guns at Iraqis.![]() Page 3 Support for 'the lads''Love, love will tear us apart'By supporting the war and being forced to support our boys, we are sadly going to be burying a lot of people for this misguided and ill thought out 'support'. In reality, a small elite few at the top of society stand to gain if we 'win' [successfully steal] the oil. But why should the working class lay down there lives for the rich? The Sun newspaper, ever willing to lead the working class to lay down there lives to keep a barrel of oil below $50 - tried a more blatant tactic, using Ken Bigleys death to whip up a recruitment drive for the Army. The Suns demented advice after Kens Murder was that we were looking for a 'one legged killer'. As usual, they rolled out the big threatening headlines about the 'SAS going in' and after a good dose of misguided patriotic bullshit, the Whoppers of Wapping were encouraging 'our' lads to fight as some page 3 girl shows her knockers off for 'our boys'.I hope the British Army has at least banned the Sun gutter-rag in Iraq, as it would be seen as offensive and provocative to Muslims in Iraq, and sensible Scousers. Muslims in the UK should join in with Liverpool and use there own influence to ban the Sun newspaper which is the UK's No 1 trouble-stirring 'news' paper targeting Muslims and Arabs and Scousers. $$$$$ Working For The Yankee Dollar $$$$$If UK soldiers sign up nowadays, they are working as mercenaries for the USA and so they'll quite likely have to play a part in the murder of innocent people. That's the way it is with American 'missions'. Sadly, for some of the younger naïve British soldiers, they might buy the 'al Qaeda' or the 'Tawhid and Jihad' and 'All Muslims are terrorists' tales from the Yanks or his poodle Brit lapdog Blair.![]() Waiting For The BritishThe Black Watch regiment is heading to a killing zone were some of the most experienced fighters are giving the Americans a hiding. Many Iraqi Army and Special Forces who still see themselves as defending there own County, will be now waiting to kill the British. They've had a long time to prepare for this. The real worry for 'our boys' is not some 'al Qaeda in Iraq' group, it is the thousands of highly trained legitimate Iraqi resistance fighters in the region who have years of bloody experience in combat, plus almost 2 years of guerrilla warfare on there own ground, and lots of sophisticated weapons at hand with an endless supply of ammunition. These people have everything in there favour. The British cannot recruit informants in this area, because anyone doing so will be beheaded and the video shown as a warning to 'weak individuals guided by the dollar', as one masked knifeman put it recently before carving the latest victims neck. Savage though this deterrent might be, it's nothing new and the British Army themselves have beheaded thousands in the past.1921Political PawnsIt would be a feat in itself if the Black Watch Regiment members can just stay alive were they are going, the lads there are simply political pawns whose sacrifice would seen as part of the 'greater game plan'. The Americans know that putting 850 British Troops in the area is going to provoke a big response, and it's not too hard out to work out what the response is going to be. The Iraqis will see the Union Flag draped vehicles as provocation in the extreme (so might Yankee cowboy bomber pilots) and the sophistication and level of attacks will almost certainly have the Black Watch wishing they were just dodging the odd RPG toting teenager earning his Mehdi Army stripes back in Basra. It's a real dirty move picking on a Regiment who were being told only a few months ago that there historical role in the British Military was to be sacrificed and the Regiment disbanded and all Scottish regiments amalgamated. It's almost as if Hoon senses that the Regiment, threatened by new labour with being simply disbanded, might fight for there very survival and try to 'prove' themselves in this mission. The Black Watch, and therefore ALL British regiments, can now see there future role in Americas plans is to act as a diversionary shield, taking the punishment of bullets, mortars, grenades, rockets and improvised explosive devices for there 6 month tour of duty, perhaps they will do 12 months to 18 months in Iraq like some of the Yanks. The British Army has been usurped by America which means in effect that America is controlling the UK and dictating our defence policies. The Shape Of Things To ComeIn 1933 the famous writer H.G. Wells published a book called 'The Shape of Things to Come'. Wells predicted a second world war around 1940, originating from a German-Polish dispute. He was right. He also envisioned that after 1945 there would be an increasing lack of public safety in "criminally infected" areas. He was right. He predicted that a war for "Modern World-State" would succeed on its third attempt, and come out of something that occurred in Basra, Iraq. Though he originally pointed to 1980, perhaps the fall of the USSR was the start of the push for the Modern One World State, or the 'New World Order'. Either way, HG Wells ominous predictions regarding Basra, added to the fact that the short staffed British Army are camped there right now, is not a comforting thought. The Americans attempt to now destroy Fallujah in some all out assault, with the Black Watch playing a vital role, is the first of many bloody battles to come. Basra, were there are tens of thousands of potential Mehdi Army fighters, may rise up in sympathy with Fallujah if America hits the town with all they have."There was a boy of about 12 years old. He was no more than 20 metres away when the Yank opened up. There were all these civilians around. He had absolutely no regard for human life. I believe he was a cowboy." LCoH Gerrard, survivor of incident when three British soldiers were wounded and one was killed when USA anti tank aircraft A10, shot at and destroyed two armoured vehicles 35 miles north of Basra. I hope the British lads make it back alive and with all there limbs intact, but odds are that to survive out there in the killing zone, they'll need to kill and will in turn see some of there numbers killed. The man aiming his gun at 'our boys', may well have buried his boys and girls because of this illegal and brutal war. In fact, most of the Iraqis fighting the occupation armies have got a good reason for fighting and are only being loyal to there Country. Ironically, if the UK was invaded and a puppet Government. Police force and army installed, the Black Watch would turn parts of the UK into killing zones. They'd be planting bombs, attacking convoys and shooting at the invaders. They'd be called 'terrorists' but we'd be supporting them 100%. This is the reality of being invaded. Fighting for God and the Queen is nonsense, as every weary British trooper soon discovers. In Iraq the British lads can't even say there fighting for there own Country, as clearly Iraq is not a part of the UK. The History of the British Army may see its final years spent tagging along as part of an American Invasion Force which is destined to get a bloody hiding for its arrogance and its belief that the World and its oil is there's for the taking.
